Its no secret that I love the Japanese so I thought Id share with you some of the works that I most enjoy from multi-disciplinary Japanese artist Nagi Noda.
Nagi was so creative and talented in so many different areas it baffles me, her body of work includes short films, sculpture, character art and she has even collaborated with artist Mark Ryden (another favourite of mine) on her own fashion label.
Sadly Nagi passed away on September 7, 2008 at age 35, after surgical complications from injuries sustained in a traffic accident the previous year, such a tragedy to lose this amazing talented person. "Hearts On Fire" by Cut Copy was the last music video she made, but my personal favourite works of hers are these hair head pieces shaped like animals, so great!!
